So naturally I was thinking about how much time is left of
this term and it kind of scared me. I know that we have over month left of the
fall semester, but I have a lot of work left to do!
I came into senior year telling myself that I was going to
manage my time better and not procrastinate so much. I’ve been better this year
than I have in the past, but it’s still not good enough because how you handle
your senior year is vitally important to how you’re going to handle your job.
I don’t want to be forced to have sleepless nights while
finishing my projects. I don’t want to have to stress out (more than a student
usually does during finals week) and worry that I’m not doing the quality work
that I should.
So my little lesson for this post is to use your time wisely
and don’t procrastinate! Now, I’m not saying you can’t have any fun; believe
me, if you spend all your time doing work and having no fun then college will
be miserable. Get your work done and live life to the fullest.
Work hard play hard,
Jake
I wish we were still on quarters. I feel like my life would be so much easier...I still procrastinate which is a habit I need to figure out how to end. I am trying! I think you made a good point that how you handle yourself is a good indication of how you will handle your job. I need to do better--that is my new goal.
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible about procrastinating also. I hope that isn't an indication for the rest of my life. Hopefully a paycheck will encourage me to work in a more timely manner. But I do agree that this semester is dragging and there is still so much to do between now and Christmas break!
